(SENIOR) CONSULTANT DATA ENGINEERING & DATA MANAGEMENT (f/m/d)


Your mission

  • You support our customers in the conception, implementation, and productive use of modern data platforms and data management solutions
  • You design data warehouse and lakehouse architectures from the initial idea through to live operation
  • You develop and operate robust ETL/ELT pipelines and ensure clean monitoring and reliable error handling
  • You model data and implement high performance data structures for analytics and BI applications
  • In your role, you implement data quality and governance pragmatically and create transparency and traceability along data flows
  • You provide data for analytics and BI and support the implementation of dashboards and reports
  • In close collaboration with business departments, you gather requirements in workshops and translate them into viable technical concepts that are implemented by you or your technical colleagues
  • You act as a reliable point of contact for the customer and create enthusiasm for topics around business intelligence

Your profile

  • A completed degree in business informatics, computer science, data/analytics, industrial engineering, business administration with a focus on data management, or a comparable qualification
  •  At least three years of practical experience in data and project environments
  • Implementation experience in at least one BI tool, ideally Power BI, Qlik Sense, or SAC, and the ability to represent modern BI solutions
  • Data modelling and the development of modern ETL processes have been part of your project experience, especially regarding data from SAP ERP / SAP S/4HANA
  • Very good SQL skills or experience with Alteryx, Knime, or similar tools complement your ETL understanding
  • You have experience in clean data modeling and performance fundamentals as well as strong, project proven Python skills for data processing and automation
  • A solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and modern lakehouse architectures as well as initial experience with analytics and BI setups
  • Enjoyment of consulting, a structured way of working, and teamwork
  •  Very good German and good English skills
